Men's 500 metre were outstanding last night. A little too much orange for my liking but hey the Racing was world class. SOCHI is a challenge for many to travel to. For that reason there are a few tickets to be had. Every day I have seen line ups at boxes offices in and out of the park, tickets may not be that easy to come by in week two. Over the first few day of competition volunteers have been offered tickets to over venues (objects). Some tickets come in very short order you may need to hustle to see the start of an event others come with some notice. My last day off I received a ticket for snow cross. Yesterday a dozen of us were whisked out of Adler Oval to watch Mens Curling. The curling was very good even thou it is an Olympic "Activity" . Four sheets of ice on the "Ice Cube" with four games going on at the same time. sheet 1: Russia 4 - GBR 7. Sheet 2: Sui 5 - Sweden 7. Sheet 3: Den 4 - China 7. Sheet 4: Canada11 - Germany 8. There were few other people in the crowd not Russian and most every eye was on sheet 1. In fact all the Russians had to do is go down in the hack to get a stir. Landing a Rock in the house brought on cheers and flag waving. Today some of use were offer Figure Skating tickets. Lost in Translation
